Irene Maragkoudaki (Chair of the Board)

Irini Maragoudaki is a seasoned financial executive with expertise in banking, credit risk, and distressed asset management. As CEO of Thea Artemis, she led Greece’s first non-performing loan (NPL) securitization, establishing the company to successfully manage over €1.3 billion non-performing assets. Previously, as Managing Director of Clayton Euro Risk, she oversaw operations across Southern Europe, partnering with institutions like BlackRock on regulatory-driven asset reviews. Her leadership experience includes serving as CEO of Credit Agricole Bank Greece, where she drove growth and portfolio performance through economic challenges. With a strong background in structured finance, risk management, and business turnaround strategies, Irini is a recognized expert in financial restructuring and distressed asset resolution across Europe.

Dr. Vasiliki Myller-Igknay is a lawyer with specialization in the field of financial services. She has worked at the specialized subsidiary bank of CreditAgricole Group in Greece (Credicom Bank), at the International Life Group, and at Thea Artemis since its inception. Her expertise in corporate governance, combined with her experience in leadership roles in the financial sector, make her capable of effectively contributing to the sustainable development of the company. Dr. Vasiliki Myller-Igknay holds a degree in Law and a Doctorate in International Civil and Commercial Law from the Ruprecht Karls University of Heidelberg. Additionally, she holds a postgraduate degree in Mediation from Fenuniversität in Hagen.

Dimitris is a lawyer graduate of the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is a member of the Athens Bar Association since 2008 and he is admitted before the Supreme Court for Civil and Criminal Justice. He focuses on corporate, commercial & tax law and corporate governance & regulatory law matters. As a legal advisor has handled numerous projects in the financial & industry  sector, advising corporate  clients with industry-specific regulatory issues. He also  assists them with legal due diligence, negotiations and structuring of business transactions in Greece.

Paul is one of the most distinguished executives in the financial sector in the New York market. For over two decades, he worked as a Senior Managing Director at the largest American credit risk analysis company, Clayton Holdings LLC. Among the long-term relationships Mr. Marchese has developed and managed, are top financial institutions such as Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co, Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, as well as Freddie Mac, Ginnie Mae, and rating agencies such as Moody’s, S&P, Fitch. Paul is an Economist with a degree in Finance from the Lubin School of Business at Pace University in New York.

 

25 years of track record most of which in high Administrative Commercial Management positions in Banking, Industry, Consulting and Servicing. Established professional competence in delivering results and profits-making, as well as in setting, developing and motivating teams to achieve goals.

Byron Loukidis started his career at a technology company with a leading position in the local market and a strong export orientation, while he switched to the banking sector where for 18 years he coped with the entire life cycle in portfolios management, from the business development during the years of lending extroversion to the most recent NPLs with the development of Real-estate asset liquidation strategies and operations with excellent results in converting assets into cash recoveries.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with specialization in finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business and an MBA from the same University.

 

Angeliki (Aggie) has 25+ years of professional experience in banking, working in the corporate departments of Piraeus Bank as well as international banks in the areas of financing, client relationship, credit analysis and NPL monitoring. Since 2018 she belongs to Thea Artemis-Ellington Group, initially as part of the Workout Team mainly engaged in NPL restructuring and credit proposals. Currently she is a senior member of Real Estate Management (REAM) team, which she joined in the beginning of 2024. She is responsible for the maturation of real estate distressed assets, handled by ES. She holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from NTUA and an MBA City (Bayes) Business School, London and she is fluent in English and German.

Foteini Bitsiara is a banking executive with extensive experience and deep knowledge of business financing, credit analysis and debt arrears management. She began her career in the banking sector in 1993 in Attica Bank until 2018,  where she held  the position of the  Director of Corporate Loans Delinquency Department of the Bank. At Thea Artemis she was involved in all procedures of Restructuring and/or Liquidation of the NPL’s Portfolio where her extensive relevant experience and specialized expertise contribute to the effective management of the company’s activities. She holds a degree in Communication and Mass Media from Panteion University  in Social and Political Sciences and also specialized Certifications in  Financial Sector Area.

 

Georgios Spyropoulos brings extensive experience in sales analytics, product strategy, and operational efficiency. At Motodynamics Group – Porsche, he played a key role in analyzing sales data, optimizing CRM systems, and aligning product strategies with global automotive trends. Previously, at EveryPay Payment Institution, he specialized in process optimization, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration. With a BSc in Economic Science from AUEB and an MSc in Strategic Product Design, Georgios combines analytical expertise with a strategic mindset to drive business growth and innovation.

 

Ioannis Charisis is a experienced analytics leader with extensive practice in financial services, risk management, and due diligence analytics. With a BSc in Economic Science from AUEB and an MSc in Strategic Product Design, he combines deep analytical expertise with a strategic mindset to drive business growth and innovation. Currently a Senior Associate in Due Diligence Analytics, Ioannis has a proven track record in leading high-performing teams and optimizing financial decision-making. He’s currently holding the post of Head of Analytics at Ellington Solutions, whereas his past roles include Consultant at EuroCreditRisk UK, and key positions at JP Morgan’s Securitised Products Group and Piraeus Bank’s Treasury Group. His expertise spans structured finance, credit risk assessment, and treasury operations, making him a valuable asset in data-driven financial strategy.

 

Argyris Yfantis is a Web Application Developer and Architect with over 14 years of experience in software development and integration. Skilled in end-to-end delivery and the full development lifecycle, with a strong focus on system integration. Proven success in projects across Greece and abroad, delivering solutions for Telecommunications, Insurance, Banking, Energy, Retail, and the Public Sector. Detail-oriented, highly adaptable multitasker, and passionate about technology.

 

Dr. Anastasios Oglanis is an experienced civil and environmental engineer with a PhD in Environmental Science and multiple degrees in engineering and business. Extensive background in infrastructure, project management, and environmental policy, with leadership roles in the Hellenic Air Force, NATO, and private sector. Expert in construction management, quality assurance, and environmental auditing, with certifications in ISO standards and global warming gas assessments. Currently a Consulting Engineer at Ellington Solutions SA, with past roles in defense, aviation, and environmental projects. Recognized with military and NATO commendations, and a former lecturer in engineering, management, and marketing. Active in professional organizations, bringing strategic and technical expertise to complex projects.
